Standard Cleaning

Routine cleaning for a home that is already more or less kept up.

What it is

Standard cleaning is the maintenance clean most homes run on: the kitchen, the bathrooms, the floors and the surfaces that collect dust and daily use. It assumes the home has been cleaned reasonably recently β€” it is not the right choice for catching up after months without one.

What is usually included

Scope is agreed between you and the cleaner, so treat this as the shape of the job rather than a contract. Anything you need that is not here belongs in your request notes.

  • Kitchen surfaces, sink and the outside of appliances
  • Bathrooms, fixtures and mirrors
  • Bedrooms and living areas
  • Dusting of surfaces you can reach without moving furniture
  • Vacuuming and sweeping
  • Mopping hard floors
  • Tidying the areas being cleaned
  • High-touch spots such as handles and switches

Add-ons you can tick in the request form: Inside Fridge, Oven Cleaning, Windows (in/out), Carpet Cleaning.

When people ask for it

  • Weekly, biweekly or monthly upkeep
  • A home that is generally maintained
  • Households where nobody has time for the full round
  • A one-off reset between deeper cleans

What happens after you send the request

You describe the job

Your ZIP code, the property details, the day you want and anything specific. It takes a couple of minutes and costs nothing.

It reaches cleaners near you

Only professionals whose service area covers your ZIP, who offer this type of cleaning, and whose ID has been approved by our team.

One of them replies

The first available cleaner takes the request and a conversation opens, where you can ask about scope, timing and price.

You accept or decline

Look at their profile and rating, then decide. If you decline, the request goes back out to another cleaner automatically.

You pay the cleaner directly

Requesting costs you nothing. The price is what you and the cleaner agree, and it is paid to them, not to Verliks.

Worth having ready

Have the number of bedrooms and bathrooms ready, along with roughly how big the home is and whether pets live there. If a room should be skipped β€” a home office, a nursery during a nap β€” say so in the notes, since it changes how long the job takes.

Questions about standard cleaning

Is this enough if nobody has cleaned in months?

Probably not. When dirt has built up, a deep clean is the better first step, and standard cleaning works well afterwards as upkeep. Describe the condition in your request and the cleaner can tell you which one fits.

Do I need to supply products and equipment?

That varies by professional. Verliks does not set a rule on it, so ask in the conversation before you accept β€” some cleaners bring everything, others prefer to use what is already in the home.

How much does this cost?

There is no fixed price. It depends on the property, its condition, the scope, your location and the professional. The cleaner who takes your request discusses it with you in the conversation, before anything is booked.

Can I ask for a specific cleaner?

Yes. You can send a request straight to a professional whose profile you have seen, and it goes to them rather than into the general matching. If they are not available, the request falls back to cleaners near you.

Does every cleaner offer this service?

No. Each professional lists the types of cleaning they take on, and requests are only matched to cleaners who offer this one and who cover your area.

Can I add extra work to the request?

Describe it in the notes when you send the request. The cleaner confirms in the conversation what they include and whether the extra work is something they can do.

The form opens with this service already selected. Describing the job costs nothing, and the cleaner who takes it confirms the price with you.
